Profits for the Community

We are committed to keeping Columbia Heights residents' taxes low by returning all of our profits back to the City. The primary use of liquor profits is to fund the purchase of Police, Fire and Public Works vehicles and equipment as well as to fund street improvements and reconstruction.  This significantly reduces homeowner assessments for these improvement projects.  In addition to this, liquor profits totally fund the D.A.R.E. program to help ensure that the children of our community learn about the dangers of alcohol and drug abuse.
